Old fashioned deli, originally started by a guy from Brooklyn, but now run by a local family. Their service is quick, but the wait depends on how busy it is, and sometimes it gets very busy, because the food is pretty good.

I've been coming here for sandwiches and deli supplies for years. There is nowhere to sit down, but there is a park nearby on sunny days to sit down. The sandwiches have good portions of meat and filling. No need to worry about too much bread like Jetties or hipster cafes. The prices are also unbeatable. I hope this place stays for another generation to enjoy it too.

Cheap, no-frills local deli spot. I hail from NJ originally, so I have a soft spot (and high standards) for Italian-style deli food. They definitely deliver. Try the Italian special sub sandwich with everything on it--you will not be disappointed. They're cash-only as well, so be sure to keep that in mind when you head over.

great deli! they have fresh breads, make great sandwiches and bagels, and actually have a pretty good grocery selection considering their size. we love this place for weekend morning snacks.

Our office orders from here twice a week. They will custom make a sandwich and do not skimp on the meat what so ever. My favorite is turkey swiss, avacados, hummus, tomato with hot peppers zomg.

i knew i was going to have a great time when i saw what this place is called. i walked in (not for the food) but rather for my absolutely epic yo mama jokes. i walked in, asked for the manager, then said "yo mama so fat she is literally a planet". the whole restraunt went "OOHHHHHH!!!! #WORLDSTAR!!!!!!!" then the manager said "i have two dads". the whole restraunt went "OOHHHHHH!!!! #WORLDSTAR!!!!!!!" (but louder). i cant say i didnt deserve getting roasted that badly. instant 5 stars and all hail the king of yo mama

Easy on the budget, quick counter service, good 1/2 & 1/2 corned beef & pastrami sandwich.

A terrific literal Mom and Pop deli on Columbia Road. They have terrific bagels and quality sandwich meat in addition to loads of interesting other foodstuffs. The owners and their kids are super nice and the coffee is good. Pro tip: The rugelach here is out of this world. CASH ONLY

Great whitefish bagel. Sadly, though the chalkboard claims they sell hamantaschen, the person behind the counter says no.

I never review things, but I'm breaking my rule because this is the best pastrami sandwich I have ever had, and I'm a New York Jew. It is perfect. PERFECT. And cheap. Get the rye toasted, with slaw, russian, mustard, and Swiss. God it's good.

Cash only deli. Generous portions, very reasonable prices. Family run business, always kind and pleasant service. My go to deli in Adams Morgan. Can't beat an egg and cheese bagel + tomatoes + avocados for $5!

Great food and friendly service but make sure you bring cash since they don't accept credit cards. So's Your Mom is one of the best spots to get a sandwich or breakfast in the neighborhood. it is fast, cheap, and consistently delicious. They are cash only but there is a Bank of America ATM right outside the door.

I usually don't leave reviews, but So's Your Mom is a true gem in the DC area that provides hefty + affordable sandwiches, bagels, wraps, etc. They also have a lot of other items from bulk coffee beans to pies. They only take cash, but the food is worth every penny and more. Highly recommend to stop by!

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and just had breakfast there for the first time. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious! We’re totally going to become regulars!

I liked the Bronx Reuben but it wasn't amazing. This place lies somewhere between a bodega and a hipster sandwich shop.

Been coming here since I was a little boy...great deli with great soups and sandwiches. Try the turkey, bacon and avocado on bread of your choice toasted or their version of steak and cheese

Good coffee and yummy bagels for D.C. It's a great quick sport to gran a bagel/sandwich/coffee and take it to the parcel nearby. The only thing missing is proper seating.

My favorite sandwich shop in town! I live over a mile away but I come here for my sandwiches. Love everything I've tried on the menu. They use great breads and boars head deli meats. The lox bagel is phenomenal and UNDERpriced. The owners are sweet local people, support local businesses!!!

I had a great pastrami on rye sandwich. This place is about 15 minutes on foot or one bus stop away from the Wardman Park Marriott, which makes it within reach for a quick conference lunch break.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches! Inexpensive favorite of the neighborhood (2 breakfast bagels and coffee are usually well under fifteen bucks). The wait can get long and crowded on weekend mornings but they've never gotten my order wrong.

Great bagel breakfast sandwiches. Can get lox, tomato, caper sandwich for under $7...amazing! Fast, friendly, delicious, affordable - a rare find for the neighborhood! Bring cash...there's a million ATMs on the block if you're stuck.
